Moving to a thicker wood panel changes how the work occupies a room. The 2cm depth isn’t just a support; it pushes the painted surface out to meet the viewer. When I layer and erase the mediums—oil, acrylic, and pulverized colored pencil dissolved in solvent and rubbed directly into the black paper—I am navigating the instability of perception. Now, because the edges wrap around the panel, that fragile image is housed within a solid, undeniable object. It is a transitional phase in my practice, preparing for a heavier physical presence while keeping the figure itself unresolved.

厚みのある木製パネルへの移行は、作品が空間をどう占有するかを変化させます。2cmの厚みは単なる支持体ではなく、描画された表面を鑑賞者の方へと押し出します。黒紙の上で油彩やアクリルを重ね、粉末状にした色鉛筆を溶剤で溶かして画面に擦り込み、そして抹消していく時、私は知覚の不確かさを探求しています。今回、紙をパネルの側面まで包み張りにすることで、その捉えどころのないイメージは、否応なく実在する強固なオブジェクトの内に定着します。これは、人物像自体の曖昧さを保ちながら、より強い物理的現前へと向かう、私の制作における移行期（トランジション）の提示です。
