These works were originally “Untitled,” but I decided to give them a title: “Rebellion Against the Absurd,” inspired by Albert Camus’ concept of absurdity. This series was prompted by a video showing a woman killed in a conflict. Watching the horrific scene left me speechless. She had no involvement in the conflict and was clearly a non-combatant, simply engaged in cultural and peaceful activities. As an artist, I was deeply moved and overwhelmed by indescribable emotions. In response to this “absurdity,” I felt compelled to create something that captured my emotional reaction and perspective.
